Angry Birds adalah video game yang mulanya pada aplikasi iPad / iPhone, namun kini telah dirilis di berbagai media. Game ini cukup membuat ketagihan pemakainya sehingga telah diunduh lebih dari 100 juta pengguna. Bahkan pejabat Inggris pun tertarik dengan permainan ini.

Rovio merilis Angry Birds diberbagai platform mulai dari iOS, Maemo, MeeGo, HP webOS, Android, Symbian^3, Series 40, PSP/PlayStation 3, Mac OS X, Windows, WebGL, Windows Phone 7, Google Plus, Google Chrome (Chrome Web Store), BlackBerry Tablet OS, Bada^[3], Java untuk mobile^[4], dan yang terakhir akan hadir di Facebook pada bulan Februari 2012^[5]

Cara bermain

Dalam Angry Birds, pemain mengendalikan sekawanan burung warna-warni yang berusaha untuk mengambil telur yang dicuri oleh sekelompok babi hijau jahat. Pada setiap tingkat, babi-babi yang dilindungi oleh struktur yang terbuat dari berbagai bahan seperti es, kayu, dan batu. Tujuan dari permainan ini adalah untuk menghilangkan semua babi di tiap tingkat permainan. Menggunakan katapel, pemain meluncurkan burung dengan maksud untuk memukul babi secara langsung atau merusak struktur yang melindunginya, runtuhnya strutkur dapat membunuh babi. Dalam berbagai tahap permainan, benda tambahan seperti bahan peledak dan krat batu ditemukan di beberapa tingkat, dan dapat digunakan bersama dengan burung-burung untuk menghancurkan babi yang sulit dijangkau.
Ada beberapa jenis burung yang digunakan dalam permainan. Pada tingkat awal, burung merah adalah satu-satunya yang tersedia. Setiap tahap permainan, jenis burung akan bertambah, beberapa jenis burung lebih efektif terhadap bahan tertentu atau memiliki kemampuan khusus yang diaktifkan setelah burung diluncurkan. Sebagai contoh, seekor burung biru dapat memisah menjadi tiga burung kecil, burung kuning yang dapat menambah kecepatan dan daya rusak, burung hitam yang bisa meledak, dan burung putih yang bisa menjatuhkan bom telur, burung hijau yang bisa manjadi bumerang, dan burung merah berukuran besar yng bis menghancurkan lebih banyak struktur. Babi juga muncul dalam ukuran yang berbeda. Babi kecil relatif lemah dan mudah dihancurkan baik oleh tembakan langsung atau dengan puing-puing dari bangunan yang rusak, babi lebih besar mampu mempertahankan diri dari banyak kerusakan. Juga, beberapa babi mengenakan helm baja, membuat mereka lebih tahan terhadap kerusakan struktur, sedangkan babi dengan mahkota paling banyak bisa menahan kerusakan.
Setiap tingkat dimulai dengan jumlah, jenis, dan keterlibatan burung yang telah ditentukan. Jika semua babi bisa dikalahkan pada saat burung terakhir digunakan, tingkat selesai dan tingkat berikutnya terbuka. Poin diperoleh untuk setiap babi yang dikalahkan serta dari setiap kerusakan atau kehancuran struktur, serta poin bonus yang akan diberikan untuk setiap burung yang tidak dipakai. Setelah menyelesaikan setiap tingkat, pemain menerima satu, dua, atau tiga bintang, tergantung pada nilai yang diterima. Pemain dapat kembali berusaha membuka tingkat sebanyak yang mereka inginkan agar berhasil menyelesaikan atau untuk mendapatkan poin tambahan dan / atau bintang-bintang tambahan.

Pengembangan

Permainan ini pun selalu menyediakan update untuk penambahan episode, yaitu Poached Eggs, Mighty Hoax, Danger Above, The Big Setup, Ham 'Em High, Mine and Dine, dan episode memperingati ulang tahun ke-2 Angry Birds, Birthday Party.

Angry Birds Seasons

Angry Birds Seasons dirilis pada 21 Oktober 2010 dengan episode spesial hari Halloween yang berjudul Trick or Treat. Setelah episode tersebut, episode spesial hari Natal dirilis dengan judul Season's Greedings. Kemudian, episode spesial untuk menyambut hari Valentine berjudul Hogs and Kisses dirilis, selanjutnya spesial hari Santo Patrick berjudul Go Green, Get Lucky, spesial hari Paskah bejudul Easter Eggs, spesial liburan, Summer Pignic, spesial festival kue bulan cina Mooncake Festival, Halloween tahun 2011, Ham'o'ween, dan episode natal 2011, Wreck the Halls.

 Angry Birds Rio

Pada Maret 2011, Rovio pun merilis Angry Birds Rio bersama 20th Century Fox, selaku produser film Rio. Game ini merupakan perpaduan antara Angry Birds dengan film Rio. Di sana, burung-burung pemarah tersebut bertemu dengan teman barunya - yang juga tokoh utama film tersebut, Blu dan kekasihnya, Jewel. Musuh dalam game tersebut bukanlah babi jahat, melainkan monyet-monyet yang nakal dan jahil, serta tokoh antagonis film tersebut, Nigel. Lokasi tersebut sangatlah persis yang ada di dalam film tersebut dan mengambil tempat di Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Angry Birds Magic

Rovio merilis Angry Birds Magic, yang dikhususkan untuk perangkat NFC-aktif Symbian untuk Nokia C7.

Josep "Pep" Guardiola i Sala (Catalan pronunciation: [ʒuˈzɛb ɡwəɾðiˈɔɫə]; born 18 January 1971 in Santpedor, Barcelona, Catalonia), is a Spanish football manager and former player. Guardiola played as a defensive midfielder and spent the majority of his playing career with FC Barcelona, whom he currently manages. He was part of Johan Cruyff's dream team that won Barcelona's first European Cup. Guardiola also played for Brescia Calcio and A.S. Roma in Italy; Al-Ahli in Qatar; and for Dorados de Sinaloa in Mexico while attending managing school. While playing in Italy, he served a four-month ban for a positive drug test although he was cleared of wrongdoing twice on appeal in 2009 before the Courts of Justice of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and the Federal Anti-Doping Courts of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI).^[1] As an international, he played for Spain and friendly matches with Catalonia.
After retiring as a player, Guardiola became coach of FC Barcelona B. On 8 May 2008, Barcelona president Joan Laporta announced that Guardiola would succeed Frank Rijkaard as the first team manager. He signed his contract on 5 June 2008.^[2] In his first season as manager, Barcelona won the treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League. In doing so, Guardiola became the youngest UEFA Champions League winning manager ever. The following season, Guardiola and Barcelona won the Supercopa de España against Athletic Club Bilbao, the UEFA Super Cup against Shakhtar Donetsk, and the FIFA Club World Cup against Estudiantes, bringing the manager's tally to the maximum of six trophies in six competitions in one year, thus completing the first ever sextuple.
On 8 September 2011, Guardiola was awarded the Catalan Parliament parliament's Gold Medal, its highest honour.^[3]
On January 9, 2012 Guardiola received the FIFA World Coach of the Year for Men’s Football award.

Lionel Andrés Messi^[3] (born 24 June 1987) is an Argentine footballer who plays in La Liga for FC Barcelona and captains the Argentina national team, mainly as a forward.
Messi received Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year nominations by the age of 21, and won in 2009 (2009 Ballon d'Or^[4] and 2009 FIFA World Player of the Year), 2010 (2010 FIFA Ballon d'Or) and 2011 (2011 FIFA Ballon d'Or^[5]). He also won the 2010–11 UEFA Best Player in Europe Award. His playing style and small stature has drawn comparisons to Diego Maradona, who himself declared Messi as his "successor."^[6][7]
Messi began playing football at a young age and his skill and potential was soon realized by Barcelona. He left Rosario-based Newell's Old Boys's youth team in 2000 and moved with his family to Europe, as Barcelona offered treatment for his growth hormone deficiency. Making his debut in the 2004–05 season, he broke his team record for the youngest footballer to score a league goal. Major honours soon followed as Barcelona won La Liga in Messi's debut season, and won a double of the league and Champions League in 2006. His breakthrough season was in the 2006–07 season; he became a first team regular, scoring a hat-trick in El Clásico and finishing with 14 goals in 26 league games. Messi then had the most successful season of his playing career, the 2008–09 season, in which he scored 38 goals to play an integral part in a treble-winning campaign. This record-breaking season was then eclipsed in the following 2009–10 campaign, where Messi scored 47 goals in all competitions, equalling Ronaldo's record total for Barcelona. He surpassed this record again in the 2010–11 season with 53 goals in all competitions.
Messi has won five La Liga titles, three Champions League titles, scoring in two of those finals, against Manchester United in both 2009 and 2011. He was not on the pitch as Barcelona defeated Arsenal in 2006, but received a winners' medal from the tournament. After scoring 12 goals in the 2010–11 Champions League, Messi became only the third player (after Gerd Müller and Jean-Pierre Papin) to top-score in three successive European Champion Clubs' Cup campaigns. However, Messi is the first one to win the Champions League top scorer titles for three consecutive years after Champions League changed its format in 1992.^[8] Messi is the fourth football player to win three Ballon d'Ors, after Johan Cruyff, Michel Platini and Marco Van Basten and the second player to win three consecutive Ballon d'Ors, after Michel Platini (however, two of his Ballon d'Ors are FIFA Ballon d'Ors, which he won consecutively).
Messi was the top scorer of the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship with six goals, including two in the final game. Shortly thereafter, he became an established member of Argentina's senior international team. In 2006, he became the youngest Argentine to play in the FIFA World Cup and he won a runners-up medal at the Copa América tournament the following year. In 2008, in Beijing, he won his first international honour, an Olympic gold medal, with the Argentina Olympic football team. At international level Messi scored 19 goals in 66 games.
